RECENT EVENTS
- On October 23, 2009, the HMEP is co-sponsoring the 12th Hungarian Cartoon Festival: A Dialogue of Cultures, at the St. Louis University Museum of Art, 3663 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO. Opening reception from 6:00pm-8:00pm. The exhibit will continue through December 18, 2009.
- A new study abroad program is now underway combining St. Louis University with the highly respected Hungarian University, Pazmany Peter Catholic University, creating an undergraduate program in Budapest. Visit http://www.slu.edu/x32426.xml for more information.
- The first HMEP program candidate completed his MBA from St. Louis University in May, 2008. In 2009 three additional scholarship winners graduated with their MBA degrees from our Missouri participating universities.
- Three student scholars are currently enrolled at our Missouri participating universities and two additional scholarships will be offered in 2010.
- Our first fundraising gala was held in April of 2008. More than 500 guests attended to hear the world renowned Roby Lakatos group perform at the Touhill Performing Arts Center.
